Model
VUV-22 Variable Wavelength UV-Vis Absorbance Monitor
$ 4,880*
The Model VUV-22 is one of the most versatile, reliable,
and sensitive ultraviolet visible absorbance monitors in the
market today.
The
Model VUV-22 uses state-of-the-art photodiode design
with complimentary high-photon throughput optics. With a variety
of sample cell designs, this detector is capable of meeting
virtually every application requirement in the laboratory.
-
The VUV-22 Variable UV/Vis detector is capable of working
from 195 to 400 nm with optical range extension up to
the NIR (900 nm). The working wavelength can be selected
from the front panel by simple up/down arrows.
-
The
VUV-22 offers one of the lowest noise and drift specifications
in the industry. This means extremely high signal-to-noise
ratios can be obtained with the standard 10 mm pathlength
HPLC cell. In fact, the sensitivity of the VUV-22 is substantially
beyond the normal chromatographic drift that is routinely
found in most chromatographic separations.
-
The VUV-22 can be modified in the field without special
alignment tools to accommodate many different sample cells.
Access to the sample cell is at the front of the instrument,
next to the display and the keypad. Available sample cells
include HPLC, micro-HPLC, 10 mm stainless steel, preparative,
and capillary (CE).
-
The
sample cells range in illuminated volumes from 0.000393
uL (capillary cell) to 18 uL (HPLC cell). Our wide
range of flow cells can accommodate practically any flow
rate or backpressure requirement.
-
All
lamps for the VUV-22 are prealigned. The standard unit comes
with a high quality deuterium lamp for use from 195-400
nm. With only the deuterium lamp installed, the instrument
can be used with broad bandpass to 900 nm. All lamp changes
are easy and accessible from the front door of the unit.
Deuterium lamps are rated for 1000 hours minimum lifetime
and feature a built-in lifetime indicator for warranty
replacements in the rare event of a failure.
- The
universal power supply has an AC input voltage of 80 to
270 Volts at 50 or 60 Hz. A "pluggable" rear barrier strip
provides easy access to input signal closures at the rear
of the instrument for event and autozero. The high-resolution
analog output is also part of this barrier strip, and it
is suitable for interface to integrators, chart recorders,
or commonly used computer interface boards. Computer control
and acquisition can also be performed via the standard serial
interface (RS-232) on the rear panel.
Includes
ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY.
